Biography
Biyun completed her PhD in medicinal chemistry at UNSW Canberra, and her research was involved in making Mono- and tetra-nuclear polypyridylruthenium(II) complexes as therapeutic agents. Her research interests on bacteria and tissue culture will continue during her appointment in DRC, where she will study enzyme-responsive peptides as neuronal scaffolds and phage display.
