Biography

Carl Hsin-han Shen is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Accounting and Corporate Governance. He earned his Ph.D. degree from State University of New York at Buffalo in USA and was a faculty member at Department of Finance of National Central University in Taiwan before he joined Macquarie University. Dr. Shen specializes in the interaction between corporate governance mechanisms and capital market phenomena. Specifically, his research interests include corporate governance, executive compensation, financial accounting and corporate innovation. He ever published in numerous leading academic journals, including Review of Finance, Journal of Business Finance & Accounting, Journal of Banking & Finance, Journal of Financial Markets.
