Biography
Dr. Charlene Chen’s research focuses on enhancing the quality of accounting, corporate governance, and social responsibility through stakeholder monitoring, both within Australia and internationally. Her work has been accepted for publication in FT50 journals, which are considered among the most prestigious and high-quality business journals in the field. Her research has influenced national regulators and professional accounting bodies. She has been invited by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission to conduct workshops. Dr. Chen’s research has received a grant from Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) Australia, underscoring its relevance to the accounting profession.
