Biography
Dr Maurel received her PhD in Oct 2018 from the University of Tours, France, and has expertise in the fields of molecular biology, cell biology and neurosciences. During her PhD, Cindy has worked primarily on a project that investigated the aggregation and the posttranslational modification SUMOylation of TDP-43.
Dr Maurel relocated to Sydney in 2019, as a post-doctoral research fellow, and has since applied her expertise to the unique zebrafish platform established by Dr Morsch.
