Biography

After many years in the health and fitness industry, I decided to study biological science in a laboratory. I completed an Adv Dip in Nutrition to enter into Adv Sci (Hon) at UNSW, where I focused on pharmacology and neuroscience. I concluded that the nervous system and brain would be the most challenging area to research, which led me to the Dementia Research Centre. I demand a high workload, high stress, and difficult problems, so it was a natural fit for me. I have been at DRC since Nov 2017 and haven't looked back. My aim is to make a significant contribution to my field; at which point I'll feel content for a week or two before moving onto the next goal. So, good times ahead.
