Erin is a research officer in the Medication Safety team at the Centre for Health Systems and Safety Research at AIHI. She has over a decade of experience as a clinical pharmacist in hospital and community pharmacy, including both adult and paediatric settings. This work has included the design and implementation of medication management and closed loop medication systems in hospitals. Her current area of research is the evaluation of prescribing in electronic medication management systems and medication work processes across paediatric settings. She is part of the editorial team for the Health Innovation Series-a regular bulletin featuring highly practical evidence based recommendations and information to supports clinicians, hospitals, policy makers and developers to apply this evidence to enhance the health system and services.
