Biography
Felicia is a research assistant at the Dementia Research Centre of the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Human Sciences at Macquarie University. Felicia completed her Honours thesis in 2022 on the relationship between different pathologies and astrocyte subtypes in synucleinopathies under the supervision of Prof Glenda Halliday and Dr Yuhong Fu at the Brain and Mind Centre, The University of Sydney. Prior to working in Macquarie University, she was a research assistant for the Halliday lab, investigating different Parkinson’s mouse models under the ASAP (Aligning Science Across Parkinson’s) network. When she is not working, Felicia is constantly improving her baking skills and providing positive affirmations for her plants.
