Biography

Flora Cheng obtained her Bachelor of Science majoring in Biology and Biochemistry at the University of New-Caledonia in 2014. She moved to Sydney to complete her Masters of Biotechnology and Business in 2016 and joined the Motor Neuron Disease Research Centre in 2017 as a research assistant in the Neuroproteomics Team under A. Prof. Albert Lee. 

She is now a recipient of a FightMND Scholarship (2023-2026) and her research is focused on identifying and characterising the RNA-protein interaction of TDP-43 in motor neuron disease.
