Personal profile
Biography
I hold several degrees in both ancient Near Eastern history and archaeology from Macquarie University. My specialty is in the conceputalisation of 'witchcraft' from Mesopotamia c. 2600-1600 BCE.
I am currently working on a PhD project examining early Sumerian texts and their relation to 'witchcraft'.
My interests lie in textual history, material culture, and socio-cultural studies of Mesopotamia. I am also particularly interested in broader sociological studies in magic and 'witchcraft', as well as modern linguistics defining these terms.
