Biography
I am a Biotechnologist holding a PhD in biological sciences with over 10 years of experience in the field, with a strong and continuous focus on molecular and cellular biology throughout my career. I have applied these core skills across multiple fields, from aquaculture, where I contributed to the development of breeding and grow-out technologies for freshwater species using a multidisciplinary approach, to biomedical research. Most recently, my work has centered on neurodegenerative diseases, using molecular biology techniques in fish (zebrafish), mouse models, and cell lines to investigate mitochondrial dysfunction and protein aggregation.
