Biography
Iliana Skrebneva is a Lecturer in Inclusive Education and the Coordinator of the Master of Inclusive and Special Education at Macquarie University. Her teaching and research focus on inclusive education, disability studies, and the development of evidence-based strategies to support diverse learners in mainstream educational settings.
With over 15 years of professional experience in inclusive and special education, Iliana has extensive expertise in designing, coordinating, and leading pedagogical content at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Her specific research interests include inclusive education policies and practices, supporting learners with diverse needs in mainstream early childhood centres and school settings, and disability studies. She is particularly interested in teacher training and professional development, exploring how educators can implement inclusive strategies effectively.
Iliana is a professionally accredited primary school teacher by the New South Wales Education Standards Authority.
