Biography
Ing Chee Wee completed her Bachelor of Science, majoring in Microbiology, Immunology, and Biochemistry, at the University of Adelaide in 2016. In 2017, she undertook an Honours project under the supervision of Professor Christopher Proud, investigating the role of MAP Kinase-Interacting Kinases in neuronal development. Her passion for neuroscience led her to pursue a PhD under the guidance of Professor Lyndsey Collins Praino, where she focused on the link between traumatic brain injury and Parkinson’s disease. Following the completion of her PhD, she continued her neuroscience research at the Dementia Research Centre, working on the development of effective treatments for epilepsy.
