Biography

Isabelle is a Senior Lecturer with the University of Sydney (profile), and Honorary Senior Research Fellow at Macquarie University. Her research interests aim to facilitate evidence-based and patient-centered decision-making in hearing healthcare, in particular with decisions surrounding hearing technologies. An overarching aim is to find integrated solutions that can make listening for communication easier for all.  

Isabelle has broad clinical experience as an audiologist (Université de Montréal- 2004), having worked in multiple settings including managing her private practice. She completed her PhD at Macquarie University in collaboration with Linkoping University in Sweden in 2013, and worked as senior research fellow, project leader, and research program coordinator with the HEARing CRC. She closely collaborates with multiple organisations in the field of hearing healthcare in Australia.
