Jasna Novak Milic (Milić) is a linguist, lecturer, and researcher, currently serving as a Senior Lecturer in Global Cultures at the School of International Studies at Macquarie University. Jasna's academic and professional expertise spans language acquisition, bilingualism, intercultural communication, and education.

She previously held the role of Director of Croatian Studies at Macquarie University and has taught TESOL courses at Western Sydney University. Her media experience includes working as a radio producer and journalist for SBS Croatian, where she co-developed the Easy Croatian podcast, designed to support learners of Croatian worldwide.

Before relocating to Australia, she held a tenured professor position at the University of Zagreb, specialising in Swedish linguistics, and contributed for nearly two decades to the University of Zagreb Summer School in Croatian Language and Culture. She has also taught Croatian at Uppsala University in Sweden and as a Fulbright fellow at Indiana University, USA.

In addition to her academic roles, she holds a Graduate Certificate in Learning Design (UTS).
