Dr. Jennifer S. Hunt is a Senior Lecturer in Cyber and Security Studies at Macquarie University specialising in the national security of critical systems such as cyber and energy. Current projects include: cyber-enabled information operations, foreign interference and electoral security, and disinformation tracking.
Dr Hunt regularly provides expert commentary on the ABC, BBC, SBS and the History Channel. She has served as a delegate at the Shangri-la Security Dialogue and participated in the World Economic Forum in Abu Dhabi, and CyCon at the NATO Cyber Center of Excellence in Estonia. She hails from North Carolina and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she was captain of the university sabre fencing team.
Dr. Hunt also holds a private pilot’s license.
