Biography
Jessica completed her PhD in 2024, working under the supervision of Prof Cyndi Shannon Weickert at the Schizophrenia Research Laboratory at NeuRA, in affiliation with the University of New South Wales. She then joined the Dementia Research Centre at Maccquarie University, as a postdoctoral researcher with Prof Lars Ittner in 2024.
Research interests
Jessica is interested in developing clinically relevant animal models for neurodegenerative diseases to further elucidate the trajectory of pathophysiological changes and better inform clinical outcomes for novel therapeutic strategies.
Research student supervision
Jessica co-supervised a Neuroscience Honours student at the University of New South Wales.
