Biography

John De Nobile came to Macquarie University after nearly 20 years of teaching, mostly in primary schools. He trained in both primary and secondary education. He has been a classroom teacher, coordinator, deputy principal and auditor of schools. His teaching/research interests include the influences of leadership and policy on teacher wellbeing and organisational behaviour, student behaviour and preservice teacher concerns about student inappropriate behaviour. 

John believes that relationships and communication are the most important skill sets teachers should possess to create positive and productive learning environments.
