Biography

Dr Ho-Shon graduated from Medicine from Sydney University in 1993. He simultaneously undertook a Bachelor of Science with research in Positron Emission Tomography and graduated with First Class Honours in 1994. In 1997 as a PET registrar at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital he commenced research in signal processing techniques applied to PET and completed a Masters of Science at Sydney University. He remained at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital for a further five years to complete radiology training before returning to Sydney University to continue research in mathematics and obtaining a PhD in 2008. In 2003 Kevin was appointed as a Staff Specialist at RPAH where he remains as an interventional radiologist. Kevin has established several medical imaging businesses and was one of the founders of Macquarie Medical Imaging at Macquarie University Hospital. He is Head of the Discipline of Medical Imaging at the Macquarie University Health Science Centre.
