Kristine holds a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology from Far Eastern University- Dr Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation, Philippines, year 2011. She also went a two-year study in the Institute of Medicine from the same University but decided to migrate instead in Australia for better career growth and further studies.
Upon arrival in Australia year 2014, she got recognised as an Intermediate member of the Australian Institute of Medical Scientists.
Kristine's strong background in Pathology and Healthcare industry made her a strong candidate in Australia. Her first role was working in GENEA (IVF-Fertility Clinic) for a year. She also worked as a Biobank Officer in Melanoma Institute Australia and became a contingent worker in Westmead Hospital/ Westmead Institute of Medical Research prior to working in Macquarie.
She started working in Macquarie University- April of 2019 and she is currently working between two groups: MND and COMBAT-AD. Her role encompasses blood collection and processing of samples including DNA and RNA extraction (quatification & storing), CSF processing, Genotyping.
Kristine is currently affiliated with the Australian Institute of Medical Scientists and Philippine Association of Medical Technologists.
