Biography

Ling Sheng is a PhD candidate at School of Education, Macquarie University, advised by Dr. Emilia Djonov and Dr. Rebecca Andrews. Her research aims to promot understanding about educator-infant interaction cross cultures and support educators' interaction with children in a cultural and contexutal appropriate way.

She is a member of CRECE, where supported her connected with other researchers working on Early Childhood Education.

Research interests

My PhD project is educator-infant interaction in Austrlian and Chinese early childhood education and care settings. My research interets are caregivers interaction with young children at home and ECEC settings, include the language, gesture, action, facial and other multimodality interactions.
