Biography
I am a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Psychology. I have been an academic at Macquarie University since 2002, with prior research positions at the World Health Organization Collaborating Centre for Mental Health and Substance Abuse, Clinical Research Unit for Anxiety Disorders, St Vincent's Hospital. I received my PhD from the University of New South Wales in 1993. Across my academic career, I have conducted research on anxiety disorders (especially social anxiety) and on the development and validation of assessment techniques including structured diagnostic interviews and self-report measures.

Teaching
My teaching is focused on principles and methods of psychological assessment at both the undergraduate and postgraduate level. I currently convene and teach the following units:

- PSYC8986 Clinical Psychological Asessment 1
Research student supervision
I supervise students primarily on topics related to individual differences in the expression and treatment outcome of social anxiety disorder.
