Personal profile

Biography

I am a Research Fellow and Clinical Psychologist at the eCentreClinic, a digital research clinic which develops and evaluates innovative online treatments for mental health difficulties.

My research integrates experimental findings and clinical research to understand how treatments work, and for whom. I have three streams, including 1) how symptoms of psychological distress is measured, 2) when and why psychological treatments are effective, and 3) the development of ultra-brief psychological treatments.

In addition, I am involved in the development, implementation, and evaluation of brief psychological treatments at the MindSpot Clinic, a goverment-funded digital mental health service.

Teaching

I have lectured and tutored across several undergraduate Psychology courses, including but not limited to Ethics in Psychological Practice, The Psychobiology of Memory and Motivation, and Motivational Interviewing for Health Professionals.
