Personal profile


Madelyne is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Clinical Psychologist Registrar at the eCentreClinic. 

Her research background is in behavioural neuroscience, having completed a PhD investigating the neural mechanisms of fear inhibition during adolescence. Alongside her PhD, she attained a Masters of Psychology (Clinical). As a clinician, Madelyne has worked with adolescents and their families, as well as adults, across various public health settings.

Madelyne hopes to combine her expertise in experimental and clinical psychology to understand how and why online treatments are effective. By understanding underlying mechanisms of treatment, she hopes to improve treatment outcomes, as well as faciltiate the development of new treatment options.


I have experience lecturing undergraduate psychology in:

- Ethics in Psychological Practice

- CBT and Motivational Interviewing for Health Professionals
