Personal profile

Research interests

My research passion is directed at improving our understanding of pest biology and ecology in agricultural systems and applying that information to develop practical, cost-effective, and environmentally sensitive pest management tactics. As an entomologist my goal is to advance Integrated Pest Management (IPM) through mission-oriented research and extension. My vision is to minimise chemical usage in agricultural systems through IPM, habitat modification and biodiversity to encourage natural enemies to establish populations in agricultural landscapes for natural control of pest populations.
