Personal profile

I have a research interest in urban, business and retail history. I have published a number of articles and book chapters on retail and retail property history, have worked as a consumer research consultant in the retail property sector, and am writing a monograph on the history of shopping centres in Australia. I am available to supervise projects on a diverse range of business history subjects, social and cultural histories of retailing and consumerism, as well as studies of the built environment and historical actors' engagement with it.
