Biography

I am a lecturer in Applied Linguistics and TESOL, teaching primarily on the postgraduate Grad Cert TESOL and Master of Applied Linguistics and TESOL. My experience as an English language teacher, academic manager, and exams centre manager inform my research and practice.

My research interests are teacher professional development, teacher education and sociocultural approaches to learning. My recent research explored professional development for English language teachers on social media. I am currently investigating dialogic teaching and learning in higher education.
