Biography
I am a plant ecologist, working in the applied fields of urban greenspace, plant conservation, invasive plants, vegetation responses to climate change, and ecosystem restoration. I am the Director of the Australian Harmony Centre for Ecosystem Futures, Director of the Smart Green Cities Research Centre and lead the Which Plant Where project in collaboration with Hort Innovation, as well as various urban greening research projects in collaboration with Sydney Water and Botanic Gardens of Sydney. In addition I am a Fellow of the Royal Society of NSW, a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering, a member of the Biodiversity Council Australia, and a member of the NSW Biodiversity Conservation Advisory Panel.
