Biography

Dr Nuraddeen Nuhu is a lecturer in Accounting and Corporate Governance.

Nuraddeen has a Master of Business Administration and was awarded his PhD from Macquarie University in Accounting & Corporate Governance. His previous professional experience, comprising financial and managerial accounting positions, involved preparation and analysis of financial statements for both internal and external stakeholders, and designing and optimising organisational systems and processes including budgeting, performance measurement, and costing systems, among others.

Nuraddeen’s research interests include management control systems, management accounting systems and practices, sustainability, and corporate social responsibility (CSR). His PhD title was “The use and effectiveness of management control systems in the Australian public sector”.

Nuraddeen’s research has been presented at various conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals such as Advances in Management Accounting, Accounting & Finance, Advances in Accounting Behavioral Research, Journal of Management Control, Meditari Accountancy Research, American Business Review, and Personnel Review, as well as other titles.
