Biography

Paul Govind is a Lecturer at the Centre for Environmental Law at Macquarie University Law School. He completed a BA/LLB (Hons) at Macquarie and a LLM at Sydney University focusing on distributive justice and funding for climate change adaptation. He is currently a PhD Candidate at the Australian National University College of Law and the Crawford School of Public Policy exploring funding for climate change adaptation and the right to development.

Research interests

Paul's research interests include climate change law, human rights and the environment, environmental finance and disaster risk management through environmental law and policy with a particular focus on the relationship between environmental sustainability, development and the reduction of poverty
