Biography
I am a biostatistician and academic in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. I enjoy collaborative research, applying often complex statistical techniques to problems in health and climate change. I teach statistics at undergraduate and postgraduate level. My research interests are in meta-analysis methods, longitudinal data analysis and Bayesian applications of statistical methods.
Research student supervision
My past and present research students include:
Associate supervisor for PhD students Heather Stevens and Ding Ma (planned completion in 2021), and primary supervisor for Reidar Lystad (completed 2014), Alan Kalamir (completed 2013) and Ben Brown (completed in 2012).
I was associate supervisor of Master of Research students Heather Stevens (completed 2017) and Wenli Hu (completed 2015) and have supervised more than 10 Master of Applied statistics student projects.
