Biography
I am an Associate Professior at Macquarie University and a medical oncologist, I have interests in lung, gastrointestinal and breast cancers and have been treating patients with disease for more than a decade. I also hold a mater degrees in Medicine and my reaserch on some molecular changes in lung cancer. I have alos worked in clinical genetics in addition to my oncology training. I teach at the MD programme and lecturing year 1 and 2 medical students . The topics are management of cancer, beyond chemotherapy, cancer genetics, lung cancer, I also contribute to bed site teaching. I am the head of medical oncology disciline and heavily involved in clinical reasearch conducted at MUH. I am focus on the novel agnets with potetnial anti cancer effect and use these agents in phase 1, 2 and 3 trials. We also have close collaboration with laboratory based research in developing new anti cancer treatemnts. I look forwarding to doing more reserach and teaching, bringing to life the MUH mission of heal, learn and discover.
