She is the recipient of several competitive grants, including funding from the Australian Accounting Standards Board to examine climate-related disclosures and their impact on corporate behaviour. As an educator, Rebecca is known for creating inclusive, high-energy learning environments that connect theory with real-world practice. A Fellow of Advance HE, she was recognised as a Highly Commended Finalist in the 2024 Vice-Chancellor’s Student-Nominated Teaching Awards. She teaches across auditing, financial accounting, and consolidation, blending research insights, case-based learning, and a genuine care for student success.
