Biography
Dr. Robert Jack (SFHEA) is Senior Lecturer in International Business and Course Director for the Master of Management.
He has Masters Degrees in both Marketing and International Business and was awarded his Ph.D. from Monash University. His previous professional experience, comprising managerial positions in both the public and private sectors, involved the development and implementation of key marketing strategies including the planning, introduction, and implementation of customer management initiatives. His work experience has also included consultation and training.
Robert’s research has been presented at various national and international conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals such as International Business Review, International Journal of Human Resource Management, International Journal of Operations & Production Management, International Small Business Journal, and Journal of Business Research amongst others. He was one of the guest editors of a special issue of the International Journal of Human Resource Management (Volume 30, Issue 14) focusing on the internationalization of Chinese banks and financial intermediaries.
He is on the Editorial and Review Board for the Journal of Business Research (ABDC-A) & European Journal of International Management.
Robert has previously taught at Monash University, Swinburne University of Technology, and the City University of Hong Kong. He has had visiting positions at Copenhagen Business School (CBS) and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS). From 2011 he has been on the Executive of the Australia and New Zealand International Business Academy (ANZIBA - as Secretary and Treasurer (2011-17) and Vice President - Treasurer (2017 - current)
