Biography

Robbie is an occupational therapist and lymphoedema therapist, and is a team leader in the MQ Health Lymphoedema Treatment Clinic.  Along with providing conservative management to patients with lymphoedema, lipoedema and other chronic oedemas, Robbie performs ICG lymphography imaging and coordinates the ALERT ICG Lymphography Diagnostic Assessment Clinic. Robbie continues to contribute to the expanding body of research in the area of lymphatic diseases, and is currently pursuing her Masters of Research at Macquarie University.  She forms part of the ALERT education team, developing and delivering accredited lymphoedema training to therapists in Australia and New Zealand, with an appointed role as Honorary Conjoint Associate Lecturer at Macquarie University. Robbie believes in empowering lymphoedema patients with knowledge, and individually tailoring interventions that are informed by contemporary lymphatic research.  She enjoys collaborating with patients and multi-disciplinary team members to devise and implement treatment plans that are evidence-based and patient-focused. Robbie is a member of the Australasian Lymphology Association and Occupational Therapy Australia.
