Biography

Rod Lane is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Educational Studies at Macquarie University. Rod's research explores two key areas – focusing on learning in terms of conceptual change and on instruction in terms of developing teachers’ pedagogical content knowledge. He has more than a decade of experience teaching in state and independent schools and is the recipient of an Australian Learning and Teaching Council (ALTC) Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning. Rod has authored and co-authored several key textbooks for Geography and Commerce students and has experience as both an HSC examination committee member and marker.

Fingerprint Fingerprint is based on mining the text of the person's scientific documents to create an index of weighted terms, which defines the key subjects of each individual researcher.
