Biography: Rongle TAN is a current Ph.D. candidate/professional casual in the School of Education. His Ph.D. project focuses on the multimodal design of language learning applications, critical analysis on the apps' teaching content and stakeholders' discourse around the apps, and the social practices of English teaching in the Chinese preschool context.
Research interest: language and literacy in early childhood, social semiotics, critical and multimodal discourse analysis, digital discourses (e.g., graphicons & website designs), multiliteracies and educational technology.
