Personal profile

I am currently a PhD candidate in the Macquarie University Child Language Lab exploring challenges in language processing for children with hearing loss. I combine cognitive, psycholinguistic and phonetic fields of research and use time-course sensitive measures such as eye-tracking and reaction times to answer my questions. My masters' thesis "P300 vs. MMN: The Clinical Potential of ERP Components to Assess Auditory Discrimination Abilities in Cochlear Implant Users" investigated the auditory processing skills of young adult cochlear implant users, using electrophysiological and behavioural methods.

I am also a tutor and/or co-convenor of the following courses:
- LING2214: Introduction to Psycholinguistics (Tutor)
- SPHL3312: Speech Perception and Hearing Science (Tutor / co-convenor)
