Biography
Mr Saqr Khalil Saeed Thabet is currently a PhD student in Computer Science at the School of Computing at Macquarie University in Australia. He is working under the supervision of Dr. Yipeng Zhou and Distinguished Professor Michael Sheng and is a member of the Intelligent Computing Lab (ICL). He worked as a research assistant at the lab of Advanced Visual Communications and Computing (AVC^2) at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) during 2016 ~ 2022. He got his Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from UESTC (China) and the University of Aden (Yemen) in 2016 and 2012, respectively.
Research interests
His research field includes Federated Learning, ML/DL, wireless communication, data processing, resource allocation, and video coding.
