Research interests
I am working toward engineering a strain of Aedes aegypti (the vector for Dengue, Zika, and other viral diseases) with a new population suppression technology. This novel strain will have the potential to temporarily suppress or eradicate local populations of Aedes aegypti in order to pre-empt or respond to disease outbreaks.'
