Biography
Sijia Guo is a Lecturer in Chinese Studies, Department of International Studies at Macquarie University. She has a BA in Education, a MA in Curriculum and Teaching Methodology (Teaching Chinese as a foreign language) from Beijing Language and Culture University. Her research interests focus on Task-based Language Teaching, Online Chinese teaching via web-conferencing systems, and second language acquisition and captioned videos in foreign language education.
Sijia has practical experience teaching Chinese in both China and Australia, including Princeton in Beijing intensive language program, Beijing Language and Culture University, Tsinghua University, and Macquarie University.
