Biography

Somayeh Farahani is a Cotutelle PhD student at Tehran University of Medical Sciences and Macquarie University, specializing in medical physics. With a robust background in radiation physics, she has developed theranostic nano-contrast agents for MRI and CT imaging and polymer gel dosimeters for radiotherapy, resulting in several publications in peer-reviewed journals. Currently, she is utilizing her expertise in medical imaging systems to explore machine learning and deep learning techniques in neuroimaging, particularly for predicting molecular markers.
