Biography
Sonja is an academic within Macquarie's School of Education. She is a PDHPE specialist with additional qualifications in education psychology. Sonja's work is in social behaviours of students in PE contexts. She is currently working with Teaching Personal and Social Responsibility (TPSR) and its implications in PE settings.
Sonja's previous career was in PDHPE teaching and Fitness, the elements of which she regularly applies within her lessons at Macquarie.
Research engagement
Sonja has been awarded the NSW Teacher's Guild Researchers award for 2023.
