Biography
Cong did his PhD degree in Computer Science from the University of New South Wales from 2020 to 2024.
During his PhD candidature, he received the "Norman Foo Memorial Best Research Paper Prize" in 2023 and the "Reviewer of the Month" from the Journal of Medical Artificial Intelligence in 2023.
His PhD study primarily focuses on the preprocessing step, particularly on stain normalization of histopathology images, and downstream histopathology image classification.
Research interests
I am particularly interested in applying computer vision-related approaches to solve tasks related to medical imaging. My research interests include stain normalization, class imbalance learning, and prompt-based learning.
