Biography
Dr. Toney Fernandez received his MSc and PhD degree in Physics from Mahatma Gandhi University, India. He then worked as a Research Associate at Politecnico di Milano (Milan, Italy), Spanish National Research Council (Madrid, Spain) and University of Leeds (UK) before joining Macquarie Unversity in 2018. With over 14 years of research experience he specializes in amorphous materials, ultrafast light matter interaction, integrated optics and electron/X-ray/optical spectroscopic techniques. He has authored over 50 research papers, 3 book chapters and owns 3 patents.
