Biography

Vivian joined the Department of Accounting and Corporate Governance at Macquarie University Business School in 2024. She holds a PhD and a Bachelor of Commerce (First-Class Honours) in Accounting from the University of Sydney.

Vivian's research interests focus on ESG disclosure and assurance, particularly the integration of non-financial information into mainstream corporate reporting. Her research projects have explored the value relevance of enhanced corporate reporting for capital market participants and credibility-enhancing mechanisms for Integrated Reporting. Her work has been published in leading academic journals, including the European Accounting Review and the British Accounting Review.
