Biography
Xinyue LEI is a research assistant of MQ Photonics Research Centre at Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia. Xinyue graduated from Queen Marry University of London with a B.Sc. degree (Hons) and from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications with a B.Eng. degree in telecommunications engineering and management. Xinyue graduated from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) with a M.Eng. degree with excellence award in 2017. She completed her Ph.D. at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in the field of photonics, electro-optics and light-based brain interface in 2021.
Her current research interests include ultrafast lasers, development of compact liquid crystal-based optoelectronic devices, optical neural interface, integrated chip lasers, photonic device fabrication and supercontinuum generation.
