Dr Ying Xu is a Research Fellow at Centre for Health Systems and Safety Research, Australian Institute of Health Innovation, Macquarie University. She is mainly working on the delivery of an MRFF funded project, the Australian Consortium for Aged Care - Quality Measurement Toolbox, aiming to improve quality of care through better measurement and evaluation.

She holds Medical Doctor degree and has completed several years of clinical internship and residency in Shanghai. During her PhD and postdoc research, she has assisted with project management of two NHMRC projects, grant applications, and study design, and has led systematic reviews, statistical analyses, and manuscripts.
