Zeyad Mahmoud is an interdisciplinary researcher, consultant, lecturer and course coordinator in Management with a particular intrest in Healthcare. Dr. Mahmoud holds a PhD in Management and Health Innovation from the University of Nantes, France, and Macquarie University, Australia.

Mr. Mahmoud has extensive experience working in international and multidisciplinary environments and organisations having held appointements in Egypt, the United States, the republic of the Congo, France and Australia.

Mr. Mahmoud's latest research looks at innovative ways of overcoming the challenges facing health systems in the Anthropocene. He is recognised for using a holistic research approach that heavily mobilises qualitative methods to capture and anlayse complex organisational and social phenomena. 

Mr. Mahmoud was the director of TEDx Macquarie University 2019. He worked with his team on encouraging more cross-disciplinary interactions within Macquarie University while building a sustainable, and internationally recognised idea-sharing platform for the local community.

Overall, Mr. Mahmoud is particularly interested in advancing ideas and conducting research that drives process and policy changes with the aim of enhancing work environments, productivity, wellbeing and delivering sustainable organisational outcomes and community benefits.
