Biography
Dr Zubair Shah has received a PhD degree in Computer Science at the School of Engineering and Information Technology, University of New South Wales, Australia. Currently, he is a postdoctoral research fellow at Centre for Health Informatics, Australian Institute of Health Innovation, Macquarie University. The focus of his PhD was on designing efficient and scalable algorithms for extracting complex patterns from multidimensional high-speed data streams such as network traffic streams, e-commerce web clickstreams and smart grid data streams. His research interests include Data Mining and Summarization, Big Data Analytics, and Machine Learning. He has published his work in various IEEE Transactions and A-tier international journals and conferences.
