Dr Syed Rahman is recognised for outstanding early career research, establishing a strong research trajectory characterised by originality and discipline-specific rigour. Syed has developed novel conceptual frameworks and translated them into robust, actionable measurement tools – a highly valued skill in his field of consumer behaviour and marketing research. To date, Syed has produced 14 ABDC A* or A journal articles, earned major international conference best paper awards, and co-authored a peer-reviewed book chapter, and has a robust pipeline of papers. In recognition of his research quality and expert standing, Syed was invited to join the Editorial Review Board of the Journal of Business Research He has built research capacity through supervision of MRes students and PhD candidates, mentoring of PhD candidate, and his high-impact scholarly contributions will continue to enhance MQBS’s national and global reputation.
