AIM Melhor Coletânea de Textos (Best Edited Collection)

Collections of essays organized by one or more members of AIM will be considered in this category. In the case of a volume with several editors, it is sufficient that one of these is a member of AIM. The books should be dedicated to a single theme of relevance to research on the moving image. The publication date should be 2023. Only first editions will be considered. Special issues of newspapers or magazines will be considered. Each editor can only submit one collection of texts per year.

The consistency of the essays presented will be evaluated, as well as their innovative character. The links that the texts establish between them will also be taken into account, and the ability, as a whole, to focus, in a coherent way, on the theme of the book. In addition to the quality of the texts gathered in these volumes, attention will be paid, in this category, to the work of their editors. Thus, the general quality of the collected texts will be considered, as well as the reflection offered in the preface, introduction and/or conclusion, if they exist.
